Arrangements for the purchase and placement of headstones, monuments or grave markers are made by the individual who is pre-planning their final resting place, or the family and friends of the deceased individual. Grave markers can be purchased and installed in advance of a person's passing, then the lettering of their life's end date can be added at a later time.
